A graduate of the Faculty of Music at the University of Western Ontario, Mitchell sings professionally with choral ensembles in the Toronto area including the Elmer Iseler Singers, the Aradia Ensemble, and Choir 21. He has also been featured as a pops soloist under the baton of Howard Cable and as a jazz singer across the city with various ensembles.

Oriana Women's Choir

ORIANA Women’s Choir was formed in 1972 as The John Hodgins Singers, later the ORIANA Singers. ORIANA’s mandate is to strive for ever-higher levels of performance excellence and versatility, and to support the choral community by expanding the repertoire for women’s voices through commissioning new works by Canadian composers.

ORIANA returns to Roy Thomson Hall

ORIANA, along with the Toronto Children’s Chorus and the women of the Elmer Iseler Singers and the Amadeus Choir, will join the Toronto Symphony Orchestra to present Mahler’s 3rd Symphony on September 28 and 29, 2016.
